How to Order
Information about your wedding
Once you add your item(s) to your basket and pay online then you will immediately be directed to the Order Form which you must fill in with all your required information to complete your order.
ORDERING
How do I place an order?
You can order all our products via our online shop. If you would like to customise a stationery item, please contact us to check if it is possible and get a quote, then we can add the option for you. Payment must be received in full for all orders before any design work begins (including the design of any proofs).
How long does it take to fulfil an order?
Once your order has been placed and we have received your payment in full we will be in touch with you confirming your delivery date which is usually in 4-6 weeks from the date that you have made your order.
Your proofs will then be emailed to you. Once these have all been confirmed by you, we will start making your stationery. Occasionally we do not have stock of an item (particularly if you are ordering a large quantity) and it may take a little extra time to dispatch, but you will be advised via email of any expected delay. Also be please advised that bespoke stationery may take a little longer.
I’m in a hurry, can you speed orders?
If you need your order in a hurry, just contact us first to find out if we could deliver sooner. This can usually be arranged.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We offer a wide range of payments which can be made online, some of the options are Direct Debit, Credit Card, Paypal, Google Checkout and Visa.
We’re only having a small wedding, is there a minimum order?
Yes, we have a minimum order quantity of 20 invitations. We advise that you allow for at least one invitation per family. Don’t forget to order a few extra to allow for additional guests you may decide to ask at a later date.
Can I have my stationery in a language other than English?
Please contact us prior to placing your order and we will be happy to help. Please note there will be no extra charge.
Can you advise me on the wording to use in my invitation?
Yes, please check out our Invitation & RSVP Wording section for advice. If nothing there suits your requirements then just give us all the information on your wedding (e.g. event type, location etc) when placing your order and we can write a wording suggestion for you. We will email you a proof so you can decide if you want to make any changes.
What if I want to place an order on your stationery, but I don’t have all the details of my wedding finalised yet (wedding date, menu contents, guests names etc)?
You can still place your order, so we can ensure we have all the stock needed for your order; just advise us of the details as soon as you can.
I love one of your designs, but can you change the colour to suit my wedding colours?
We will try our best to give you exactly what you require. Many of the designs can be customised to your wedding colour design including ribbon, lace, jewels etc. Please contact us with your exact requirement and we will contact you to see if it is possible.
Can I change the wording on the front of the card?
Yes, we will try our best to do this for you depending on the design, layout and sizing of the card. Please contact us prior to placing your order and we will be happy to help.
Postage
All orders under £20 are sent by Royal Mail with a flat rate of £2.00 to cover post and packaging.
All orders over £20 are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery with a rate of £5.75 to cover post and packaging and a signature upon delivery.
Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds and exchanges after you have approved your proofs are not available. As we handcraft each order to your exact requirements, refunds or exchanges can only be given if our products are faulty or your order is incorrect. Refunds before you have approved your proofs can be given, however this will be based on the work already undertaken on your order. The amount that is refunded will deduct the work already undertaken or the amount of stock already purchased for your order.
AFTER ORDERING
I have already placed an order and need to order some extra items, how do I do this?
When ordering wedding invitations it is recommended that you order a few extra, to allow for any last minute additions to your guest list. If you find you need to add to an order already placed, please place your order via the website and add in the Order Form that you would like the cards printed as per your previous order – please also quote the order number. If there is a delivery charge for your subsequent order, please contact us first as we may be able to give you a discount code to cover or reduce this cost if we are able to dispatch the orders together.
What do I do if I want to cancel my order prior to dispatch?
If you change your mind before you receive your emailed proofs, then your order can be cancelled at no charge – just contact us and we will arrange the cancellation and full refund. If you have received your proofs but have not yet confirmed then your order can still be cancelled, but there will be a fee of £20 to cover the cost of producing all your proofs. If you have confirmed your proofs, then your order has begun production and we are unable to arrange a cancellation – since all orders are personalised.
My order was due to arrive 3 days ago, but it has not yet been delivered – what should I do?
All wedding stationery orders over £20 are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. If you do not receive your order 3 days after your dispatch date, just contact us and we will investigate. In the unlikely event that your package is lost during transit, we will endeavour to arrange a free replacement as soon as possible so that you receive your stationery in time.
What if I’m not satisfied with my order?
If your order has been damaged during transit or there are any other problems, then please contact us as soon as possible, detailing the extent of the problem. We will arrange for the collection of damaged items and provide you with a replacement. If your order has not been damaged, but you are unhappy with any items in your order, please contact us detailing the problem. We endeavour to resolve all issues promptly.
OTHER QUESTIONS
I’m planning a different type of event (renewal of vows, christening, birthday party, corporate/social event, etc) can I use Cherry Pop Cards?
Yes, we can customise all our stationery to any type of event. Please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
When should I order my wedding stationery and send our invitations?
Around 4 or 5 months in advance of your wedding is recommended. Orders take approx 4-6 weeks, and invites should be posted to your guests around 6-8 weeks before the wedding, so this leaves you a few weeks to address and post your invites.
